This is my first review of any phone .. and i have only covered main highlights only
the phone under review here is Spice m9000 popkorn .. yes its latest mobile phone from Spice
and it have some of the great features , the main one is the projector built-in , it utilizes the latest
DLP projector technology ... below is the list of few of its features

Review :
[i'll compare it with my current N97 mini]
The phone is little heavy compared to Nokia N97mini [which i have now], and built quality is very good [No cheap plastic] and had good share of metal body ,
thickness wise its almost same as N97 mini and in length is a quarter inch bigger. the keys are good to type and screen is 2.4inch .. although it would have
been good if its bigger, and there is only one interface for everything from charger to USB to earphone. and there are 2 dedicated buttons at the side , one for projection
and other for volume.
The Unboxing:
the mobile shipped with popkorn like cardboard box which is attractive and different shape so far in the market, and inside box there are 5 layered shelf which holds
different accessories, first one holds the mobile , the second one holds tripod for the mobile [trust me its works for my camera also .. it saved me 500/- ]
, third shelf holds one external speaker and connector , forth shelf holds the USB and other cables , and finally fifth shelf holds the laser pointer and charger.
Power On:
the mobile easy to power on .. just insert the battery and press one dedicated key the phone comes to life .. the menu is simple and effective accessing the short keys is
easy and quick .. and entire mobile phone OS response is very good and quick.
Working:
i have checked with most of its functions and before i got this phone i was worried that most of its features won't work as in china mobile , but i was wrong and each and every
functionality they mentioned did works and works without any lag, i opened PDF's , word document, PPT ,Excel documents and there is no problem working with them.
i have opened the multiple video's like 3gp, avi and rmvb, flv and mp4 and works fines [flv needs to be in right format <25fps].
i have tried to install few java applications and it will install well.
FM and TV will works flawlessly and the mobile comes with internal antenna .. just pop it out .. a clear reception we can get.
there are other features like remote control of PC with blue tooth, Timed FM recording, and some other misc features like auto switch ON/OFF mobile with timer
Camera i found to be good with 3.2 MP and have good decent options like multiple scene select, exposure control, multi shots , timer ..and few others and pics are clear , the main plus
point in camera is its video recording .. its brilliantly clear compared to N97 and had night video capture option too.
Projector:
Now the main attraction , initially i thought projector could be dull .. but to my surprice it turn out to be very good brightness, and color reproduction is brilliant, the maximum viewable
size i got it from this is around 7feet by 6 feet [yes feet not inch] and as bigger the projection the brightness is less , as light needs to spread in wider area, but u can get brilliant
picture and color if u project it less than 60inch in dark room, darker the room better the picture.
i have also checked for any cut in the picture during projection [as some china mobile tend to cut some 20% actual image on projection] and in this phone its 100% projection with no attenuation.
i assume projector might be of 10-15 lumen s and can get you 15000-20000 hours life
Battery:
Although the SPice claimed to have 3 hours of battery life on projection .. i got little less of 2 hour and 40 min on projection [i tried lot of option and operations before that]
Cons/Negative points:
screen size should have been bigger than 2.4 inch, 3G should have been there , No gravity sensor
Verdict :
Just buy it .. no second thought .. its purely a entertainer handset, even if u want to buy just the projector [pico proj] it will cost u 10000/- and more [check for Axa,3M pico projector with same lumen s and life]
and with just 6400-6700 price range .. u'll never get these features.
and by the working and quality of this phone i can surely say its not china phone ..quality wise its much better than those.
check the video of the projection .. note that actually its much brighter .. the N97 mini camera didn't capture full light in night mode [i used N97 mini camera to make this video]
